Join us on the 18th of April, 2015 to celebrate the 9th Annual Bioengineering Day, an important event that unites faculty, alumni, students, and industry partners to showcase the yearly progress and successes within our bioengineering ecosystem.
This event is a unique forum for networking between our industrial partners and the bioengineering community here at UC San Diego. The undergraduate and graduate research symposia celebrate the accomplishments of our students and provide opportunities for collaboration between industry, alumni, faculty, and students.
In the spirit of this year's BE Day theme, Bridging Bench to Bedside, our speakers collectively represent areas of academia, industry, public policy, and medicine. Dr. Low, Mr. Panetta, Dr. Landsberg, and Dr. Sailor, will share with us their experiences with translational biomedical research and provide unique perspectives of the challenges of building this bridge from the lab to the clinic.
This year's Bioengineering Day features a keynote address by Dr. Philip Low, Founder, Chairman & CEO of NeuroVigil, in addition to short talks by three invited speakers. It also features graduate research talks, a poster expo, and a networking reception where we will be commemorating the 95th birthday of Bioengineering founding father Dr. Y. C. Fung. See you at BE Day- we promise it'll be interesting!
