Undergraduate student nominations are based on experience in the university or engineering environments. Gordon Scholars can be nominated to be Gordon Fellows.

Graduate student nominations are based on experience in the university or engineering environments. Gordon Scholars can be nominated to be Gordon Fellows.

Professional nominations should be individuals working in industry, government or military.
All those submitting a nomination for the Engineering Leadership Awards are required to do so online.

Who can nominate?

Gordon Fellows can be nominated by UCSD faculty, UCSD staff and the industry community.

Nominators Information

The nomination requirements include:

  1. Your UCSD Single Sign-On login information
  2. Name of the undergraduate, graduate, or professional being nominated
  3. Email of the undergraduate, graduate, or professional being nominated
  4. A nomination letter that includes a description of why your nominee should be considered for the Gordon Fellow Award, addressing their demonstrated excellence in the areas of leadership, engineering ability, communications skills and teamwork ability. Nominee Information

Once a nomination has been submitted, the nominated individual will be contacted to complete their nomination by uploading the following documents to their online nomination:

  1. Nominee's resume or CV
  2. A summary highlighting of their technical leadership experience to date
