The Master of Advanced Study Degree Program at the Jacobs School of Engineering offers three graduate degree programs tailored to meet the needs of working engineering professionals and industry by providing access to world-class faculty from multiple engineering fields, world-class facilities and resources, and class schedules designed for working professionals. The Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) degree is a master's degree conferred by the University of California that focuses on emerging interdisciplinary fields critical to industry's competitive future while preparing its graduates for the challenges of being a leader in today's engineering industries. The Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California San Diego currently offers three MAS degree programs in specialized engineering tracks. Take a look at each of our three programs and explore your next step in advancing your career. All of our MAS degree programs are in-class and do require active attendance and participation. The AESE program does allow a hybrid model that combines synchronous distance learning and one in-residence week each quarter.
