National Academy of Sciences President Ralph Cicerone will discuss national strategies for innovation and global competitiveness as the luncheon keynote speaker at the Jacobs School 's Research Expo on February 23, 2006.
The annual event, now in its 25th year, is designed to provide a broad overview of research in the Jacobs School while fostering interaction among the School, its alumni, and industry.This year's Expo will be centered in the Jacobs School 's new engineering courtyard and will feature faculty topical talks across engineering disciplines. Graduate students will have their resumes on hand and be available to discuss their research during an exhibit that includes more than 200 posters. Recruiters can double their visibility on campus by attending Research Expo on February 23 and by hosting a recruiting booth on February 24 at the student- run Disciplines of Engineering Career Fair (DECaF).
