Engineering Chocolate

UC San Diego alumni Michael Antonorsi ('85 Bioengineering) and Richard Antonorsi ('84 Computer Science ) are literally giving back the fruits of their labor. The brothers, co-founders of San Diego-based Chuao Chocolatier, have created special-edition candy bars in honor of UC San Diego's 50th anniversary, with $0.50 from each bar going to UCSD's Invent the Future campaign. The bars are sold on the UCSD campus. Twenty of these specialedition candy bars will be wrapped in a winning ticket, which will admit the finders and their guests into an exclusive tour of Chuao Chocolatier, followed by a chocolate and wine pairing party (think of an adult version of Willy Wonka.) The 50th Anniversary Chuao chocolate bar contest will run through May 13, 2011, with two prize offering opportunities: January 2011 and May 2011. To find out if you are a lucky winner, enter the code located on the wrapper online at www.alumni.ucsd.edu/goldenticket.
