Triton Innovation Network (TriNet)

Triton Innovation Network (TriNet), a partnership between UCSD's Rady School of Management, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the von Liebig Entrepreneurism Center, is hosting an exciting challenge to promote the commercialization of ideas that impact the environment.

This challenge is awarding the top 3 projects with cash prizes up to $6000 for environmentally relevant ideas or ventures. In addition, each winner also will receive mentoring from the von Liebig Technology and Business advisors.

How to Apply?

  • PDF, 1-2 pages, minimum of 12-point font
  • Project title
  • Name of applicant and team members, departments, phone numbers, email addresses
  • Describe an unmet need that is being addressed, the market, the customer (along with feedback from customers), and the solution or technology that is being applied to address this unmet need along with its impact on the environment
  • Describe prior funding sources and the status of the intellectual property protection for the technology
