UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering is the lead sponsor of an office space in Nihonbashi Life Science Building in downtown Tokyo. UC San Diego, as a tenant, has access to various conference, meeting and seminar rooms in this building as well as in a nearby building owned by the same landlord - Mitsui Fudosan, a real estate giant in Japan.

The UC San Diego Tokyo Office was launched in July 2016. This website provides details about the office space and various rooms, and explains the procedure for UC San Diego users to utilize the facilities to promote international collaboration in research, higher education and innovation.
