The Department of Bioengineering ranks 2nd in the nation for biomedical/bioengineering (U.S. News, published March 2018). Bioengineering has ranked among the top four programs in the nation every year for more than a decade.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) ranks 11th in computer systems; 13th in programming language; 14th in computer science theory; and #16 in the nation overall. (U.S. News, published March 2018).

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) ranks 15th for its programs in electrical / electronic / communications engineering (U.S. News, published March 2018).
