Power, Ethernet & Cell Service

Power Outlets

LEED certified electrical outlets are installed throughout the building. Outlets marked with a 'power' icon are connected to motion sensors and will shut off after 30 minutes of inactivity. This is a requirement of our LEED Platinum certification and cannot be adjusted.

Ethernet (Data Ports)

Managed by the Office of Engineering Computing (OEC). Ports are activated only upon request. Please see these detailed instructions from OEC on how to activate one or more network ports in your workspace or lab. This includes network ports on lab benches.

Cell Phone Service

Due to dense construction materials, cell reception can be poor. Please enable Wi-Fi Calling on your device (Android / iPhone). Campus ITS is currently working with providers to improve service in FAH.
