The UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering's 44th annual Research Expo is Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
More than 150 graduate students from all six Jacobs School departments will showcase their research and workforce-ready engineering and computer science skills to industry judges and guests from all across our region's many innovation and industry clusters.
Research Expo is a great opportunity to meet the Jacobs School in person. It's a chance to learn about the latest research trends and technologies being developed in emerging industries. In fact, Research Expo is the only event of the year in which you can meet engineering and computer science graduate students and faculty from all six Jacobs School departments in person. It's an opportunity to recruit top tech talent from a Top 10 engineering school.
There is no cost, but registration is required. Registration for Research Expo is now open!
In 2025, a graduate student developing self-assembling molecules that could be used in advanced materials and microchips won the top prize at Research Expo. Learn more about this project and find a full list of winners here in our 2025 recap story.
