Jacobs School Project Space

Jacobs School Student Project Spaces are administered by the IDEA Engineering Student Center under the supervision of the Jacobs School of Engineering Dean’s Office.  Project Spaces are allocated by the Jacobs School of Engineering to provide student organizations and project teams with physical space to plan, build, and test their projects.  

Apply for Project Space

We invite engineering student organizations to apply for project space where they can plan, build and test their projects during the academic year. The application form will provide you with an opportunity to inform us of the type of project/s your group is currently working on, your project space needs, and your organization’s goals for the academic year. Applications will be reviewed by faculty and staff.  

To apply, please complete the online submission form. 

Deadline to submit your application is Monday, June 3rd by noon.

Project Space Timeline

Late Winter Quarter to End of May: Application Open
Early June: Applications Reviewed
Mid June: Applicants Notified
End of August: Current Occupants Move-out
September: New Occupants Move-in
