Connect with the Jacobs School at Research Expo

San Diego, CA, February 29, 2012 -- Connecting with the people is what Sam Knight (BS Applied Physics '73) values most about Research Expo, the annual research event at the Jacobs School of Engineering.

“It’s stimulating and very encouraging to meet and experience the intelligence and enthusiasm of some of the students,” said Knight.

Research Expo at a Glance

Poster Session: 1:30-4:30 p.m. More than 230 graduate students will present their latest work at the poster session at Research Expo. Read about the Research Expo posters here.

Faculty Presentations: 2:30-4:30 p.m. Research Expo also includes faculty talks from all six departments at the Jacobs School of Engineering. Abstracts for the faculty talks are available here.

Networking Reception: 4:30-6:00 p.m. At the networking reception, get to know graduate students and faculty and see who won the best poster awards. Expand your network. Begin a research collaboration. Identify possible future employees.
