Engineering Students Present Career Fair on February 15
January 12, 2005 --More than 1,200 engineering students and 20 companies are expected to connect during the Disciplines of Engineering Career Fair (DECaF) on February 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the UCSD Price Center. Students will explore career options, while companies present permanent or summer employment opportunities and internships. Participating companies receive a Jacobs School student resume CD with student resumes categorized by discipline. The UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering career fair is the only student-managed career fair on campus. It is coordinated under the leadership of the Triton Engineering Student Council in collaboration with the Jacobs School’s Corporate Affiliates Program, Engineering Student Services office, and 13 engineering student organizations. DECaF provides students and company representatives with a unique opportunity to interact and engage in career discussions regarding science and engineering. All UCSD undergraduate and graduate engineering students are invited to attend. For more information and to register, visit http://www.ucsd-tesc.org/DECaF/index.html. |
