The Jacobs School at Neuroscience 2022

Nov. 10, 2022-- The Society for Neuroscience is holding its annual conference, Neuroscience 2022, Nov. 12 to 16 in San Diego and the faculty of the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering will have a strong presence at the event. 

Before the event, UC San Diego bioengineering professor Gert Cauwenberghs is hosting a mini-symposium on brain-mind-body cognitive engineering for health and wellness Nov. 10 and 11 here on campus. 

Bioengineering professor Shankar Subramamiam is giving a keynote speech at the event on "How is the brain reprogrammed in Alzheimer's disease?" at 2 p.m. Nov. 10. Subramaniam is an expert in systems biology and bioinformatics, who holds the Joan and Irwin Chair in Bioengineering and Systems Biology at the Jacobs School. 

Researchers affiliated with the Center for Engineered Natural Intelligence will present posters and demonstrations during the event.
