Massive Adaptive Interactive Texts, open computational problems in HIV epidemiology
Moshiri’s work focuses on the development of high-quality online educational materials (mostly in the form of Massive Adaptive Interactive Texts, or MAITs) for use by instructors in flipped classes as well as for integration into Massive Open Online Courses. Moshiri’s future research also will be centered around open computational problems in HIV epidemiology.
Capsule Bio:
Moshiri earned his Ph.D. at UC San Diego before joining the campus' faculty in 2019. He is affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Informatics at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and the Halicioglu Data Science Institute.
