Registration for the 2024 Commencement Ceremonies is now open, and will close on Thursday, May 23.

Participation Requirements

In order to participate in the GEPA and/or Jacobs School of Engineering master's commencement ceremonies, you must meet the following requirements

  1. Completed your graduate degree in fall 2023, winter 2024, or plan to complete your degree in spring or summer 2024. 
  2. Complete the Commencement Registration form. Registration will be open in early April. 
  3. Fulfill all degree requirements before the end of the summer 2024 quarter: Friday, September 6th, 2024. 
    • Ph.D., Ed.D., D.M.A., D. Aud., M.F.A. and Master's candidates must successfully defend their dissertation or thesis and submit all final paperwork to GEPA for approval. 
    • Education Studies Credential students must have completed all credential program requirements.
  4. Order regalia from the UC San Diego Bookstore. Visit their website for more information on how to purchase these items and for details around Grad Fair.
