Yiying Zhang

Software and hardware for data centers, computer systems and machine learning, programming languages
Zhang explores revolutionary ways to build software and hardware systems for the next generation of data centers. Apart from data-center systems, she also works on the intersection of computer systems and machine learning, security, and programming languages.
Capsule Bio:
Zhang was an assistant professor at Purdue University from 2015 to 2019 before joining UC San Diego. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She won an NSF CAREER award in 2019.
