Zhuowen Tu
Visual inference, machine learning, neuro imaging, and medical informatics
My research is on the interface of visual inference, machine learning, neuro imaging, and medical informatics. I have been specifically focused on studying statistical learning/computing models for structural, large-scale, and multi-modality data prediction.
Capsule Bio:
Zhuowen Tu is an assistant professor in the Department of Cognitive Science, faculty-affiliate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of California, San Diego. Before joining UC San Diego, he was an assistant professor at UCLA. Between 2011 and 2013, he took a leave to work at Microsoft Research Asia. He received his PhD from the Ohio State University and his ME from Tsinghua University.
